Harris Bell Workshop

Location: Elmhurst Ballet School (B5 7UH)

Times:

Age 13-21yrs : 10:30am-12:45pm

Age 7-9yrs: 1pm-3:15pm

Age 10-12yrs: 3:30pm-5:45pm

Limited Spaces: first come, first served for each age group.

Age Range: 7yrs – 21yrs

Open to all: Current MTB members, non-MTB members, vocational and non-vocational ballet students are all welcome.

Please note: this workshop is not affiliated with The Royal Ballet or Elmhurst Ballet School.

During this workshop, students will take part in a technical ballet class followed by a repertoire class (2 hours), which will then be followed by a Q&A session at the end (15 mins).

Harris Bell’s Biography:

Harris Bell is a professional dancer with The Royal Ballet in London, originally from Dollar, Scotland.

He’s called the Royal Opera House his home for the last 5 years and is on stage most nights in over 13 productions a year. Starting his training in Scotland, he continued studies at Elmhurst Ballet School at age 11, moving to both The Royal Ballet School White Lodge (age 14) and Upper School (aged 16, from which he graduated into the company (2018).

He’s performed ‘Concerto Pas de Deux’ on the ‘Palais Garnier’ stage in Paris, and various shows in Madrid, Tokyo and L.A  during the Royal Ballet’s international tours. He has had roles created on him by Christopher Wheeldon and Wayne MacGregor, having also worked with choreographers such as Liam Scarlett, Kathy Marston, Robert Binet and Didy Veldmann.
